A Little About Caelin Hanna
No trail guide is better equipped than the one who has traveled the path many times and in many seasons: so it is with counseling.  I know the counseling process from both sides.  Not only have I helped many clients rebuild their lives; I rebuilt my own life with the help of a number of counselors.  The things I learn through my experience as a client and through my own personal growth are a cornerstone of my practice as a therapist. Walking the talk and seeking perpetual improvement as an individual and therapist is one of my highest values.

I am 46, have been working with clients since 2006 and started in private practice in 2009.  I am licensed in Mississippi (#1716) and hold a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling.

Outside of work I have many interests, most of which have been eclipsed by raising my son.  I love learning about how things, people, and cultures work.  I am most happy when I make enough time to be with friends and family, to be outside, to maintain the mundane and to just be.

Raising my son brings delight and challenges to continue to grow and learn. Seeing the world through his eyes creates experiences that enrich my understanding of being a parent, being a child and the complex effect the parent/child relationship has on our development and mental health across the lifespan.
