A Little About Caelin Hanna
No trail guide is better equipped than the one who has traveled the path many times and in many seasons: so it is with counseling.  I know the counseling process from both sides.  Not only have I helped many clients rebuild their lives; I rebuilt my own life with the help of my counselor.  Continuing my own growth benefits my family and me and enables me to provide the best possible care for my clients.

I am 41, have been working with clients since 2006 and started in private practice in 2009.  I am licensed in Mississippi (#1716) and hold a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling.

Outside of work I have many interests, including Irish dance, rollerblading, art, wakeboarding, kayaking and cooking.  I love learning about how things, people, and cultures work.  I am most happy when I make enough time to be with friends and family, to be outside and to just be.

The birth of my son in July of 2018 has brought delight and complications to my life and schedule.  In order to have more time with him I have decided to cut my practice to part time.  This stage of his life is so short, I don't want to miss too much of it!  He has been teaching me and creating experiences that are enriching my understanding of being a parent, being a child and the complex effects the parent/child relationship has on our development and mental health across the lifespan.
